Cerreto Laghi (RE)

The town of Cerreto Laghi is located around a very beautiful lake at the foot of Monte Nuda which gives its name to this town (“laghi” means lakes in Italian) in the Apennines near Reggio Emilia.

It is the most popular resort in the Reggio Emilia area: 28 km of slopes, 5 lifts (including a 3-seater chair lift that goes rapidly up to 1980 meters on Monte La Nuda), 13 km dedicated to cross-country skiing, a slope qualified for international competitions, a snowboarding park and a kids’ park.

Ski pass prices. The season pass for adults costs from 410 euro (if bought by November 25) to 500 euro.
 
 Not just skiing. The program of events in 2011-2012 is pretty full with snowshoeing, hikes, nordic walking and events organized in the town.  And after skiing, you can meet with a personal skater for  individual ice skating lessons at the Palaghiaccio. (www.cerretolaghi-ski.it)
