A tourist resort on the "Avenue to Genoa" which is an important road between the Po Valley and Liguria that follows the Francigena Way.
The network of medieval villas and self-sufficient rural hamlets are typical of this area, as are the fortifications. Other monuments are Villa Marazzi and the Oratory of San Rocco.
About 25 km from Bore, the pretty village Bardi can be visited where there is a beautiful Medieval Castle and other villages are Pellegrino parmense and Varano dè melegari with the castle.
Bore is very close to the province of Piacenza, where at about 25 km, you can visit the beautiful villages of Vigoleno and Castell'Arquato.
