Wellness Week

This week of exercise and healthy lifestyles will take over throughout the Wellness Valley, from the beaches to the national parks in the Apennines, bringing with it more than 300 events. There will be itineraries in green areas, hiking, oriental practices, sports and food in the heart of Romagna. May 19-28.

Open Wineries

For its 25th anniversary, this festival will open 800 wineries all over Italy to the public, of which 60 are in Emilia Romagna, for tastings and pairings of local wine and food, tours of wineries, all paired with events such as exhibitions, music, and outdoor activities. May 27-28.

The ancient splendors and glorious deeds that left their mark on history will come back to life at the Palios and festivals in costume that, all over Emilia Romagna, will pop up in historical town centers, ancient castles or seaside towns with tournaments and challenges,  past habits and crafts, dancing, parades and ceremonies.

Ravenna Festival

The theme of the 28th edition is “The sound of time”, dedicated to the relationship between intellect and power inspired by the Russian Revolution of 1917. The entire city will come to life for over a month with dancing, culture, music, and art. 25 May – July 11.

Bellaria Film Festival

The heart of this event in Bellaria Igea Marina (Rn), a showcase of the best Italian documentaries, is made up of the Competition Italia Doc and Casa Rossa Art Doc. The guest of honor is Stefano Bollani who will perform in a single concert on the piano. May 25-28.

This International Festival dedicated to contemporary music and research will reverberate for the whole month of May in the heart of Bologna, with a special appointment also in Modena with Annette Peacock. There will be many Italian and foreign guests, with various world premiers. May 4-31.

This Italian festival of responsible tourism turns 9 and will be held in 10 places including Ferrara, Ravenna, Rimini, Reggio Emilia, and Parma. The first stop is in Bologna, from May 19 to 28, with itineraries on foot and by bike, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, documentaries and tastings.

Crossroads 2017Crossroads 2017

This “on the road” jazz festival lasts almost one hundred days and travels throughout Emilia Romagna. The numbers speak clearly: there will be about 500 musicians performing in more than 60 concerts in over twenty cities. Until June 1.

Primavera SlowPrimavera Slow

There will be 14 weeks of events dedicated to slow tourism in the nature of the Po Delta, with excursions on foot, by bike, by boat and on horseback, tastings, lessons and workshops.  Do not miss the events Slow Easter and the International Birdwatching Fair.  Until June 25.
