Golf Club Bologna - Monte San pietro

One of the historical italian golf courses, founded in 1959 and designed by Cotton and Harris. It is situated in high country and offers wonderful views of the surrounding hills and plains. The course, which is constantly maintained, has hosted the Italian Amateur Championships as well as a number of important professional events in recent years.
The sober and elegant Club House blends well into the surrounding countryside and provides an ideal opportunity to try the excellent cuisine of the Club Restaurant which frequently appears among the 10 best club restaurants in Italy. The club also features a wonderful open-air swimming pool and children’s corner. In the year 2000 some modifications were made to the course by Peter Allis.

18 holes, par 72, 5,949 metres, designed by Cotton and Harris, partially redesigned by Peter Allis, 116 metres above sea level.

Opening

Open all year, closed on Mondays except when a public holiday.

How to get there

From the A1 motorway take the Bologna Sud exit for Casalecchio di Reno and the highway for Maranello. After about 2 kilometres after Ponte Ronca following the “Bazzanese” state road there are signs on the left for the club.
